Venn Diagrams

You Let the light pass in.
With the sun setting, on part of you--a part of me,
My body is too weak to reach the door,
To shut the light out, to send it packing onward.
I can't remember if I remember anything,
and the new fog clouds everything I know.
The shadows chase each other along woodgrain walls
as the time makes it's way to the end of the track,
The finish line.
We watch slowly, with a diligent calm.

The line:

"The shadows chase each other along woodgrain walls"

is awesome. I don't know why, but it really stikes me. It's powerful and visual.
